Welcome to our web site:
We are interested in seeing how many people out
there would be interested in helping form & organize an association of
microd alumni. Several reasons come to mind.
1. A gathering of alumni once a year - for the purpose of sharing a meal, reminiscing, & remembering good times we had and can share with others.
2.
Involvement
– the New York State Microd Association is looking for volunteers (that
understand microding & the uniqueness of their rules) to serve as judges
for their Tour Series Championship Races. -
(as it is known today)
3.
Fundraising
– perhaps some of us could collaborate and put together a book or group of stories
about the history of microding. With
the royalties going to MAANY to help defray the costs of holding the yearly
reunions. Beyond that perhaps land could be purchased to start a new club in a
new area or restore Microd Racing to an old one.
4.
